Welcome to the website of Snorri, Nordic Tug 32-225. She was built by Nordic Tugs in Burlington, WA, in 2002. We purchased her in March 2008. Snorri is our second Nordic Tug, having recently downsized from our 2001 Nordic Tug 37. (Want to know the origin of Snorr's name?)

Buffalo Wings (Snorri's former name) saw some serious cruising, having completed the Great Loop under the pilotage of her first owners. We are anxious to continue that tradition and hope to do the Down East Circle Route when we retire.

We trucked Snorri from Lake Oneida in central New York, to Essex, CT. In Essex, she underwent several upgrades: we added solar panels on the pilothouse roof, expanded the house battery bank to six AGM batteries, and installed a 2000 watt pure sine wave inverter, high-output alternator, and a propane on-demand hot water heater. We replaced the carpet, installed teak and holly flooring in the head, and painted the inset and boot stripe red. Click here to learn more about the solar system which was featured in issue 14 of Waypoints, the Nordic Tug Newsletter.

After the upgrades were completed, we cruiseed her to her new home in Stage Harbor, Chatham, MA. We've spent the past three summers cruising throughout southern New England.
